WordPress website design and development
A vital part of any marketing strategy
Websites have become the storefront for business — a representation of your brand and offerings.
Even if you operate a physical location, your online presence is incredibly important.
According to Forbes, 57% of users won’t recommend a business with a poorly designed website.
That’s a significant number of potential customers turning to your competitors.
Furthermore, almost half (48%) say a websites design is the number one way they decide on the credibility of a business.

Absolutely! This is a major aspect that sets our services apart.
A website should evolve with your business, and outsourcing development can become incredibly expensive.
I provide clients with documentation upon handover which demonstrates the ways to keep your site up to date, and make changes or additions as required.

I build exclusively on WordPress.
WordPress is my platform of choice for a number of reasons, but in short, it’s powerful, flexible and allows scope for growth with your business.
Are there any additional costs?
Are there any additional costs?
The build cost is only one part of owning a website, however I build on WordPress, which is a free open source software.
Some providers may charge up to £150 per month, plus payment processing fees on top of what a payment gateway like Stripe or Pay Pal charge, these costs can quickly add up.
With WordPress, the only ongoing costs for a typical website are hosting and domain licensing.
Hosting costs can range from £5 – £40 per month depending on the hosting plan and inclusions.
For example some hosts include SSL certificates or daily scheduled backups to keep your website secure.
These features incur an additional charges, but in my mind are worth the investment, particularly when compared to other providers.
Domain costs are generally around £10 per year.
I also recommend clients consider adding on a branded email, which is generally between £4 – £10 per month.
We offer a website maintenance plan which comes with the additions listed above (SSL certificate, backups).

For websites, I accept payments via bank transfer in instalments of:
– 50% deposit to secure your project in the studio.
– 25% payment due upon your approval of the final build.
– 25% payment prior to the website launch.
In some cases I can break this down into 4 payments, over 8 weeks, however the final payment must be made prior to website launch.
Please feel free to get in touch to work out a payment arrangement that suits you.

What do you need from me?
What do you need from me?
Before we dive in, I need a little prep work from you.
After you accept my contract and make the initial payment, I’ll send you a questionnaire to kick things off. This step is crucial since I often book projects in advance; a deposit will secure your spot in the studio.
The questionnaire aims to gather detailed information about you, your business, and your target audience. This helps me fully understand your needs so I can create a website that truly reflects your business.
You can either save your progress and return later or complete it all at once.
Feel free to attach any relevant files, and it would be helpful if you could create a Pinterest board to give me a sense of the website style you envision.
